Our Christmas Tree is Up!

Two weeks ago, Daddy A and Matthew already set up our Christmas tree. My two boys had fun putting up the tree. Look at them!

The two has been doing this since Matthew can walk and our little boy is always excited.

The Christmas decors are as old as our Christmas tree, which is 6 years na. Daddy and I are crocheting Christmas ornaments as addition to the old ones. Look at these Christmas stockings Daddy crochet.

Ang cute 'di ba?

We are crocheting more Christmas decors pa. Daddy is crocheting Snowman while I am doing snow flakes. I'll show them too once done.

Next year, since 6 years na ang aming Christmas tree, we are planning to buy a new one. I like a taller one and I want it white :)

Kayo guys, is your Christmas tree up already? Let me see...

Happy Father's Day to the Best Dad Ever!

I can't thank God enough for giving me a husband like him.  I seldom write a post just all about him. But today is special day as we celebrate the greatness of all the fathers and he is, for us, the best dad ever.

So you probably know him as the all around Chemist Dad. He is a full-time employee with a dual role as company's Quality Management Representative and Quality Assurance Head. Anything about quality he can answer, right Daddy? Hehe.

Busy Weekend... Crocheting and Kite Flying

Hello guys! Have you noticed that we are almost half through January? Oh my G! That's the favorite expression of our son. Wala lang! Haha!

Sorry medyo ngarag lang ang peg because 4 days na akong kulang sa tulog. Why? We are finishing the last crochet MTOs we have accepted last year. Actually, our plan last December was to not accept orders anymore. But a bulk order came that we can't resist. We thought January 15 pa naman need but hey that's tomorrow already. In short napasubo kami ni Daddy A. So we have no choice but finish the bulk order of 400 mini booties lang naman. Here are the mini booties we have finished already.

Happy Father's Day Daddy A!

As I always say, I am so lucky to marry my best friend. He may not be a romantic type of guy. He may have some flaws that can make me feel  irritated at times. He may not always show how much he cares for me and Matt. But if I will be given another chance to marry a man again, I will still choose you. That's because, no one can ever fill the other half of my heart as perfectly as you do.

Photostory: Sleeping Time

Have you already read Bedtime Strategies for Toddlers? If you are having a problem with your toddler's sleeping time then maybe that will help, even a little. Hehe.

Anyway, I do have a problem with Matt when it's sleeping time already. He makes many excuses. I even told him his Daddy might palo him if his kulit persist but he replied with a naughty answer.

Mommy: Matt lay down, gusto mo paluin ka na ni Daddy?
Matt. Hinde po. Hinde po dapat.

Haha.. See, this little boy is so smart. Hindi nga naman dapat. Cute :)

And look at what he did to his Daddy.

Photostory: What is A Dad?

This will the 7th year without our father. He is up there watching over us and even if it's almost 7 years now, the pain of losing him too early is still there. I thought the pain will fade through the years but I am surprise it doesn't. As much as possible, I don't talk about it because I always get emotional every time I remember my father.

Okay I'll talk about my father but it will just be brief or it will flood with tears here :) When I was a little girl, I used to be a Daddy's girl but things changed and I don't know how, but it did. The admiration was changed to hatreds. I really don't want to remember that so I will stop here :(

I had one post about my father and you can read it here. Even with all of his imperfections, I love him because he is my Father and no one can ever change that. Lucky you are if you still have your father with you. I just wish he's with us still, for I know he will be very happy and proud seeing me and my family. He will be extra happy too to see my son who they say, looks like him.

Okay enough of the drama now. I would like to share you this:

I Love Sundays: Busy for Matt's Second Birthday

This is a late post due to Smart Bro "technical enhancement" yesterday, that is no internet connection the whole day. Whew!

As usual, we start our Sunday by attending the morning mass. After the mass, we went to Daddy Allan’s Tita to get the vegetables and alamang her Mom has sent. We stayed there until after lunch. Matt loves the duck there and even told us to get them.

Then after chatting with them, we went to Toy Kingdom at SM Marilao to look for balloons and some party favors. We don’t get pictures here because Matthew is trying to reach all the toys he will see. So we had a very quick trip here then to Department store to buy Daddy’s slippers and rubber, as in rubber shoes because it’s rainy season already. I bought mine too J

Here are photos we had. We brought the stroller with us because Matthew is so magaan, hehe. Not good daw to say mabigat according to elders. Also, it is very hard to let him walk by himself because he runs to everywhere. Like in here, he said he wants to walk only to find out he saw Jollibee. I told Daddy to watch over and run after him, haha.

No way can't deny, he loves Jollibee so much.

He asked Dad if he can ride this space shuttle but he's not yet allowed to so sad sya.

Look at what he was holding here. A Mickey Mouse coin bank. He won't let it go when he saw it at Toy Kingdom. Now I wonder who he loves more, Jollibee or Mickey Mouse?

Thank God the door is close because he ran fast towards it.

Both of us got tired so we fasten him on his stroller. Looks like he won't fit with his stroller already :(

Looking on his Knick Knacks. I noticed that he loves color red too because when I let him choose snack to eat, he will choose the red ones.

Mom said smile but he ended up doing all of these make faces. Silly boy really :)

So that's the whole Sunday we had, so tired but so happy. Just few days to go and it will be Matt's second birthday.  The invitations and souvenirs are all done. You can view them here and here. We are currently doing the party designs, banners and party hats. I'll post them too.

Happy Independence Day!

I Love Sundays: Swimming Sa Bahay

Last week, I am over excited with our company outing only to be disappointed for so many reasons so we decided not to go. I am glad I listened to my instinct because last Friday there was no electricity almost the whole night and Daddy Allan had a sudden fever.

Sunday came and we have no plans of going out except for Church, so I told Daddy why not inflate Matt’s pool so he can swim. Matt has so many bungang araw (prickly heat) because it’s super hot even if it rains at late afternoon or night. The short rain just makes the weather even hotter.

Matt can't wait...

As he knows how to use the bomba. haha

Matt: Dad, bilis and init na e.

May props si Daddy, ang water gun. hehe

Pati si Daddy nag-enjoy!

My cutipie son!

Tampisaw sa tubig, sarap!

Presko and ready to sleep na!

Matt matakaw =))

He is watching his videos.

That's my Sunday, super init pero super enjoy. I do hope you always enjoy your Sunday's with the family.

I hope it is Sunday already :)
