Quote of the Day: To the Momma who is tired...

Hello Mommas!

I know you are tired but guess what?!? Weekend is here! Yey!

Congratulations to us because we get through another week. And in case you are really feeling tired of cleaning all the mess, taking care of the kids and all other house chores in between, here's a reminder that one day your kids will be all grown up.

To the Momma who is tired

To the mama who is tired…
Enjoy every moment because one day
they will be grown up.
– Pieces of Emerald

So just enjoy this moment when they are still clingy and dependent on you. I know you are tired but soon they will be independent and will live on their own.

Have a great day ahead Mommas! Enjoy the coming weekend.

Hugs hugs...

Quote of the Day: You Should Trust Your Self

Hello Mommas!

How's your week so far? I hope you are all doing fine.

Before anything else, let me share our quote of the day.

You’re going to get advice
from a lot of people, and
you can take bits and pieces,
but you know innately
what your child needs.
You should trust that.
– Lucy Liu

Most moms get so called unsolicited advice from friends, families and sometimes from strangers. Though sometimes they don't mean any harm, they don't help us at all. What most moms need are people who truly care, who will help us, who will understand and listen to us. We actually don't need advice when we rant, we just need someone to listen and pour out our emotions.

And that's enough because as a mom, we know exactly what our children needs. You should trust your self, your instinct.

Have a great day ahead Mommas! Sending virtual hugs...

Quote of the Day: Successful Mothers

Hi Mommas!

How do you equate success and motherhood?

People look at me as a successful mother because I can juggle between work and being a mom. But they don't know the struggles I went and going through every day.  There are so many times that I really want to quit my job. During those times, all I do is pray that whatever "His will, thy will be done".

With God's grace, I am still working and a mom of two now. Am I successful? Yes I think because I never give up even I am struggling. Because mommas are made strong to face challenges along the way.

Now, let me share this quote of the day with you.

Successful Mothers

Successful mothers are not the ones
that have never struggled.
They are the ones that never give up,
despite the struggles.
~ Sharon Jaynes

Never give up Mommas! You can do it, we can do it!

Hugs hugs Mommas!

Quote of the Day: Life comes with a Mother

Hey Mommas! Starting today, I will be sharing quote for the day, which are mostly pertaining to motherhood.

First to share is this one.

Life comes with a Mother

Life doesn't come
with a manual.
It comes with a
Mother.

Yes, I so agree with this. Our life has no manual. We don't have life procedure or instruction to follow. But we have our mothers who guide us through this life. And when she's gone, our life literary shutdown as well. For awhile, our life will be a mess and it never gets back to the way it used to be.

So love your Mommas while she's still with you. You will have that big hole in your life that can never be filled once she's gone.

Hugs hugs Mommas!

My 39th Birthday

Last week, I celebrated my 39th birthday with a big blessing.

Read: After 10 years...

My husband woke me up with this cake.

He woke up early to prepare our breakfast.

Kahit walang gana, pinipilit ko kumain for the little one in my womb.

By the way, before quarantine, we are already planting. Look at these cute tomato seedlings. They just grew from the seeds I got from the tomatoes we bought at the market. Ganun sila kadaling tumubo.

urban gardening

What's so good about having your garden at home is you don't need to buy vegetables whenever you need it. You are also assured that what you are eating is safe from pesticides and insecticides. Look at these ampalaya leaves Daddy A got for our monggo.

I was craving for monggo so I cooked ginisang monggo.

I am craving for pizza too and since wala delivery sa area namin sumaglit kami sa Pizza Hut.

I want mango pero wala so I got Zagu halo-halo instead.

halo-halo shake

Here's what we have for my 39th birthday.

We ordered 2-piece chicken, mashed potato and mushroom soup from KFC.

fried chicken

Pizza from Pizza Hut.

This cake Daddy A bought at Red Ribbon the day before my birthday. Hindi ko na naman napansin, haha.

This is me at 39.

I would be the happiest sana if my little boy is with us now.

Praying that this pandemic will end soon. Nawa'y bumaba na or wala ng mag-positive pa, makarecover lahat ng nahawa at wala ng mamatay. Praying for a vaccine too so we can all be safe. In Jesus name I pray for all of these.

Oh before I forgot, my son and my in-laws celebrated my birthday too. They had pizza from Greenwich, halo-halo and pancit palabok.

The boy who loves pizza. I missed him so much!

Finally, this cake from my colleagues.

I am so thankful and grateful for another year of my life and for another life in my womb. I can't still believe God blessed us with another bundle of joy. He is so good. Praying for his divine protection to keep us safe.

Thank you everyone for reading through our blogs. Kindly include us in your prayers. Stay safe!

My son has a Youtube Channel, please Subscribe!

My son loves watching Youtube videos but it's always under supervision. his favorite channel is Ryan ToysReview. So one day he asked me if he can also have his own Youtube channel.

At first, I was hesitant. He convinced me by telling me that he wanted to earn money through posting videos so I can quit my job. Maybe he sees how troubled I am because I can't do what I really love to do. Maybe hesees how I loved to be with him but I can't. And maybe he wants to see me when he get home from school to hug him when he had a bad day.

Just like the other day, when he called me crying. He said his teacher told him he will die because his head bumped the floor and it didn't bleed. He's crying because he's afraid daw to die. My heart is broken. I want to hug him tight but I can't. I want to kiss all his fears away but I am still away waiting for the workday to end.

So I am really troubled and I think I need to share this in another post. For now, I am asking you to please visit my son's Youtube channel. There are few funny videos there and we are apt for more videos, maybe toy reviews or family videos in the future.

Here's one of his funny video.

Please please visit his Youtube channel and don't forget subscribe. You can make one little boy happy. Thank you so much!

My 38th Birthday

Years have gone so fast. I am now 38, a wife and a mother.

I started my day with a yummy breakfast with my family of course.

breakfast ideas, pinoy breakfast, food

Unlike my 37th birthday, I was able to spend my birthday with my little boy. My in-laws where here to celebrate with me. I wish next year naman my siblings will also be here to celebrate with me.

Since they don't want going to the mall or restaurant, we had our lunch celebration at home. We had grilled pork chop.

pork chop, inihaw

Chicken gising-gising.

chicken, gising-gising

One thing I like about celebrating at home is you can eat good food without spending much. SO for merienda/snack we had vegetable bowl and pancit malabon.

Pancit malabon is my favorite next to spaghetti.

pinoy food, pancit

Daddy A make this yummy Mango Cheesecake.

mango, cheesecake, dessert

My life is not perfect but I still thankful that I almost have everything I need. There are so much to be thankful for.

I have a family.

Before I make drama, I also have another celebration at work.

Our little boy is with us that's why I am thankful for our company for letting us bring this boy to work. Wala na kasi kami helper but that's another story to tell.

Goldilocks cake

Thankful for these people who make my work easier.

To this man, even though we are going through tough times now. Thank you for not giving up. Let's just look at this as a test to make us stronger. It makes our relationship more challenging. I love you and will support you all throughout. I just hope you will understand me more because what we went through is not easy.

And to my self. Learn to love your self more. You have been through so much yet you are still standing. Be kind to yourself. You are doing great remember that. Don't let worries kill your faith. You are blessed and God loves you.

My Blessed 37th Year

Hello everyone!

Last May 1st, I celebrated my 37th blessed year. Yes, late post again. Sabi sa inyo super busy lang e, hehe.

Anyway, I just want to share how I celebrate my 37th birthday. If you are a regular reader, you will know the way we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and other occasions. Simple lang lagi and we make sure we spend time with our family.

This year, Daddy and I talked about giving in with our wants. It's been 10 years kasi that we are living frugally. It's time naman to reward ourselves since we are working so hard. I-justify ba? Hehe. Birthday ko naman so talagang nag-isip ako ng birthday gift sa sarili ko. Haha!

However, our first attempt to buy a gift iba naman nabili namin. Ayan, inflatable pool for our little boy.

It's on sale. From its original price of almost 3,000, we got it only for 1,500 pesos. Walang wala sa ligayang nakita namin sa mukha ng bulilit na ito. Priceless!

Meanwhile, I finally bought this iPad. Finally, after 10 years ng pag-iisip, I give in. Hehe! Here's my birthday gift to myself.

Katas yan ng blogging mga besh! Really thankful for countless blessings that we are receiving. Aside from our regular work, our blogs are able to add income to our family.

Then since my birthday fell on weekdays, Daddy and I went home to have a pre-birthday celebration with our little boy and my in-laws.

He still don't want to go home until his school starts daw. We just let it be since we still don't have a helper. It's so difficult to find a helper noh? Hopefully, we'll be able to get one before Matthew's class starts, or else...

Oh back to my birthday na lang. Since we it's a week day but a holiday, we had breakfast at home. Just the two of us lang. Here's my birthday breakfast.

We will just spend the whole day at home to have some rest na lang sana but Daddy told me we'll go to the mall because he still has no gift for me. By the way, here's my birthday baon.

We walked around the mall, but I can't find a gift except for the bag I already saw more than two weeks ago yata that time. I find it expensive already that's why I was holding back. Kuripot mode on namana kasi after I bought the iPad, haha.

We had our lunch muna to think about it. Here's our lunch.

Here's my birthday date pala.

Daddy said we should buy it and I told him, yes if I still like it if I will see it again. And I still like it! I really love it and I will tell you why in a separate post na ha. Here's Daddy's birthday gift to me - Travelon Anti-Theft Signature Flap Compartment Cross Body Bag.

Hay, if I will count how my we spend already in a week, nakakatrauma. I told Daddy, kuripot mode na ulit kami. Hehe.

Seriously, when I watched this video a realized that life is too short. I must enjoy life and the money that we are earning while we can still do it. Watch it too.

Ano mga besh? Tagos hindi ba? Live simply but don't forget to enjoy life.

And to end my day, here's my dinner.

I am so grateful for everything that I have now. I am thankful to God for giving me a family, a loving husband and a wonderful son. Bonus na that I am a good career now. All I can ask is good health for my family, my friends and everyone around me.

It's indeed my blessed 37th year!

My Big Boy and His Ambition

Hello everyone! So excited that the school year will soon be over. Vacation is almost here and that means I could also take a break from reviews, home works and also making bento baon.

Anyway, this will just be a quick post. I am on leave today until tomorrow. I am planning to blog but there are many house chores waiting for me.

Aside from that, it's exam week of Matthew and we will have to review hard because it's fourth grading already. So here's my big boy.

He's getting bigger and bigger. Just look at his school polo uniform. Kakapatahi lang nyan ha. Where does time goes? I will have a binata soon.

This little boy also has an ambition already. Look!

Tsk... Lagot na ang mga kriminal dahil andito na si Police Office Matthew Andrei. Uubusin nya daw kayo. Hehe.

I feel proud that he wants to serve our country. Buts eriously and honestly, if you will ask, I wouldn't want him to be a policeman. I couldn't handle the fear that everyday he will risk his life chasing criminals and protecting people. But if that's what he really wants then we will support him. Anyway, he is still young and he may change what he wants to be. Hopefully...

That's for now and I'll try to blog later because I have many stories to share pa.
