My 39th Birthday

Last week, I celebrated my 39th birthday with a big blessing.

My husband woke me up with this cake.

He woke up early to prepare our breakfast.

Kahit walang gana, pinipilit ko kumain for the little one in my womb.

By the way, before quarantine, we are already planting. Look at these cute tomato seedlings. They just grew from the seeds I got from the tomatoes we bought at the market. Ganun sila kadaling tumubo.

What's so good about having your garden at home is you don't need to buy vegetables whenever you need it. You are also assured that what you are eating is safe from pesticides and insecticides. Look at these ampalaya leaves Daddy A got for our monggo.

I was craving for monggo so I cooked ginisang monggo.

I am craving for pizza too and since wala delivery sa area namin sumaglit kami sa Pizza Hut.

I want mango pero wala so I got Zagu halo-halo instead.

Here's what we have for my 39th birthday.

We ordered 2-piece chicken, mashed potato and mushroom soup from KFC.

This cake Daddy A bought at Red Ribbon the day before my birthday. Hindi ko na naman napansin, haha.

This is me at 39.

I would be the happiest sana if my little boy is with us now.

Praying that this pandemic will end soon. Nawa'y bumaba na or wala ng mag-positive pa, makarecover lahat ng nahawa at wala ng mamatay. Praying for a vaccine too so we can all be safe. In Jesus name I pray for all of these.

Oh before I forgot, my son and my in-laws celebrated my birthday too. They had pizza from Greenwich, halo-halo and pancit palabok.

Finally, this cake from my colleagues.

I am so thankful and grateful for another year of my life and for another life in my womb. I can't still believe God blessed us with another bundle of joy. He is so good. Praying for his divine protection to keep us safe.

Matthew's 9th Birthday + Father's Day Celebration

Since Father's Day fell on Matthew's 9th birthday. we had a double celebration. Which means nakatipid kami, haha.

I can't believe it's been 9 years since we welcome Matthew in this world. And bilis ng taon and soon I know he will have his own world.

Daddy secretly prepared those balloons. Just like Matthew's 8th birthday, we just want a simple celebration with our immediate family.

I prepared a breakfast.

Then we went to hear a mass. Saktong Father's Day so the priest called all the fathers in front to bless them. Matthew went with his Daddy and Lolo.

We chose to have an early lunch because for sure there will be long que to table reservation.

Matthew is so lucky to have a Lolo and Lola who loves him so much. Especially his Lolo who would take a leave from his work to accompany him at our home when our helper left us.

We are lucky to have a son like him. He may not be perfect and I don't want him to be one. It's more than enough that he understands us and our situation. That he's willing to help us to the best that he can.

By the way, here's the cake that we bought from Max's Bakery. This is  Max's Triple Treat cake but he wanted Max's strawberry chiffon cake sana like what we had on his Dad's birthday.

Mas masarap naman kasi yung strawberry chiffon cake e. Hehe. Anyway, we had our lunch at Pizza Hut. We chose the Pizza Hut Panalo Group  Feast for 8 at 1,999 pesos.

It includes 6 pieces crab salad rolls.

To my little boy, you've been my strength. No words can describe how much I love you.

Ooops, before I get emotional, here's the gift that he asked from us that day.

Actually, wala na sana gift because I week before his birthday he asked a Casio watch as a gift na daw. Mukhang nalinlang kami e. Hehe.

So heto na, to these two, I hope you know hoe much I love you both. 

Kahit madalas nagbubunganga ako, haha, alam nyo naman lahat yun para sa ikakabuti nyong dalawa. Thank you for making my life easier. Thank you for understanding and loving me even at my unlovable moments. Remember that I will always be here to support, understand and love you no matter what.

Daddy A's Pizza Hut Birthday Celebration

Last Sunday was Daddy A's birthday. Since it's a Sunday, we went first to Divine Mercy Shrine to hear a mass and give thanks to God for Daddy A's another year.

My father and mother in laws together with Daddy A's niece traveled from Nueva Ecija to celebrate Daddy A's birthday with us. But that day they needed to be back home and they brought Matthew with them. We're running after time para hindi sila gabihin sa biyahe so we chose to eat at Pizza Hut at Shell NLEX, Balagtas.

Wala pa order, pictures na agad. Haha.

The kids wore their party hats.

We ordered the Hut Feast Meal 10 that is good for 6 persons na at 1,049.00 pesos.

That includes two regular pan pizza. We chose supreme pizza.

With two pastas. Here's the  meaty macaroni.

Also included are 6 cups of soup. We chose cream of mushroom soup.

And this is why we ordered this feast. The feast includes 4 fried chicken + flavored rice.

Daddy A added this Garden Salad at 75.00 pesos, as per Papa's request.

Oh the feast also includes a pitcher of iced tea or Pepsi.

Alam nyo na kapag kainan na, galit galit na. Haha!

This little boy ate not just pizza.

But the chicken and rice too. Favorite nya talaga ang crispy chicken.

We had a full tummy after and these two kids gave a full smile naman for this photo opp, hehe.

Before we left, there's a Dairy Queen beside Pizza Hut pala. And even with a full tummy, hindi nagpaawat ang mga bata and Daddy A buy them this Blizzard.

And this, wala lang haha! Stolen shots daw e.

Nang nahatid na namin sila, it was just Daddy and I left at home. Yes, Matthew went with them. We have no choice because we have helper issues again. That I will tell you in a separate post na lang so as not to ruin this happy celebration.

And there you go our birthday boy, chillin by himself. 

Happy birthday Daddy A. I don't have gift for you kasi naman parang nabili mo na yata lahat ng gusto mo e. Alam mo naman hindi ba we are saving more this year. Hehe. Anyway, I wish you good health. For work naman, just always give your best and you will go a long way. I know your capability and one day you will reach that top. Finally, I hope you'll be more patient with us. Be more romantic na din and always give your best to your family. Again, happy bithday! We love you so much our Chemist Dad!
