BC Bloggers Meme: A Day in My Not So Boring Life

BC_BLOGGERS

I have missed two BC Blogger Memes already so for this week I think I can make it so here I am writing about it. Haha. Anyway, the topic of this week's meme is "A Day in My Not So Boring Life".

I am a working mom so expect that I have a busy life. Aside from my fulltime work, I also have blogs to update  and online shop to take care of. So here's my 24-hour schedule:

My day starts at

5:00 am

At this time, I am usually wide awake. Daddy Allan usually take the bath first so while waiting for him, I check my email messages, may online shop FB page and mylot.

5:10-5:30 am

Take a bath and dress up for work.

5:30-6:00 am

Prepare breakfast and our baon for lunch. Usually at this time also, Matt is already awake. As usual, he is on his most energetic self following me everywhere I go. He don't like waking up without mommy by his side.

6:10 am

Bye-bye time to Matt. Matt is either inside watching Dora, Baby Genius or Mickey Mouse, or he is out with his Tita for morning stroll, if the weather is fine. What is good about Matt he is already understand that we need to go to work everyday. So there's no crying time every time we say bye-bye. He will even kiss us and say "take care!", with flying kiss and beautiful eyes when we are already inside the car.

7:00 am -12:00 pm

Work, work, work... We have 15 minutes coffee break so I take advantage over this. I will write a blog post as fast as I can or research about baby accessories or update my online shop. If there's online shop inquiry I also take seconds to answer it. Hehe.

12:00 - 1:00 pm

Lunch break. Whew! I always bring my DIYs stuffs with me so during lunch break I am busy doing crafts and DIYs. I really don't want to waste my precious free time. Lol.

1:00-5:00 pm

Back to work. Patiently waiting for the clock to strike 5! I know you are too, right?

5:00 pm

Time to go home. If we don't have other errands to go to, we immediately go home. We love going home to the sweetest smile, the contagious laughter and the eardrum breaking screams of our little son.

6:00 pm

Home at last! Matt is surely excited to open the gate for us. He already know the sound of Daddy's car. I always say "Hello Mamatt!" so he imitates that right after he heard the car parking. Oh, he loves pasalubong. He will peek inside our bags or look at what we are holding. So Daddy and I need to have something to bring home for him. I love hearing his "Wow!". He is so appreciative whether it's a small lollipop or a burger or an ice cream. You can see how delightful he is and that's more than enough to take away the stress and tiredness we have.

6:00-8:00 pm

Dinner time. If Tita did not cook yet, we will prepare dinner so it will take us an hour for the preparation. Lucky that we have Tita with us for she take care of everything. From cleaning the house, doing laundry and cooking. She's doing all these while taking care of Matt. Well, according to her Matt behaves well when only the two of them are left at home. Matt will strike once Mom and Dad are around. I told you, he is like a ball that keeps on bouncing around. He never get tired and never lose his energy. He will look into everything we are doing. So we'll take our dinner that usually last more than usual since Matt is very aggressive and would want to do everything on his own. I then do my night rituals and brush Matt 's teeth.

8:00 pm

At this time, we are already upstairs at our bedroom. Matt and I read his favorite books, do some tickling and cuddling, and sing nursery songs. I don't know why it took him almost 2 hours now before he finally close his eyes. Sometimes, Mom and Dad are asleep already, and I can still overhear him singing ABC, Ako ay May Lobo and now Bahay Kubo.

If Matt will sleep earlier, Dad and I are still up until 10:00 pm to do crafts. Like last night, we do a pair of booties. I try to put Matt to sleep but he wouldn't so we decided to stop and just sleep.

BC Bloggers Meme: Count Your Blessings!

Everyday is a blessing, that I always believe in.

I am actually busy since last week. Busy with my work, my online shop and I almost missed blogging everyday. I am thinking not to join the Meme this week but then I don't want to miss the fun so here I am thinking of what are the blessings I have received last week.

Nothing major that is so I'll try to recall those little blessings I had everyday:

My Lovely Clients. I am overwhelmed with all the inquiries I am receiving everyday. Actually, most of them are texting at night or weekends. I try my best to give them the information they need. I always text back  even late at night. If I don't text back ASAP, it means I am asleep or I don't have extra load yet to text if you are a non-Sun subscriber. Thank you dear clients!

Our 107th Love Monthsary. Less than a month to go and we will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary and our 9th lovaniversary, haha. My husband is always a blessing to me because of him I am a better person now. Love you Chemist Dad!

Internet Connection at Home. Our internet connection was finally activated yesterday but last week I already felt the blessings it can give to us. We had applied for that last Sunday and got a 50% on the cash out and another 50% on the first monthly billing.  Although, we are still experiencing some glitches, nevertheless, it is a blessing. Thanks Smart Bro!

My Friday Presentation. I am out the whole Friday last week to attend a meeting with our sister's company technical group with the President. Yes, with the President whom I don't meet personally yet. Our Manager told me that I should go with him in their meeting because they have some concerns regarding our laboratory results. I said yes, but at the back of my mind I have a second thought. Still, I prepared a simple powerpoint presentation the day before the meeting. The night before that I have this strange dream of not waking up early, hehe. By the way, I should wake up early that day because the meeting will be at Sto. Tomas Batangas at 9 in the morning. Fortunately, it was just a dream and Daddy drove me to Caloocan and there I tranfered to our Manager's car. Just when we are at EDSA he told me his car had a problem and when we arrived at Avida Towers near Crame to fetch one of our Nutritionists, the car overheated. So we have no choice but to leave the car there and asked for help from our colleagues near the area. Luckily, there was one who was willing to drive for us so we reached the place passed 8 in the morning. The meeting started at 9:30 in the morning when the President arrived. He had a good mood then but you can see the strictness on him. Our Manager introduced me to him and he told me that I can present first. I felt the nervousness but managed to regain my composure. My presentation lasted for less than 10 minutes and in between that they interrupted me with some questions. After my presentation, I don't expect what I heard. The President told us that it was a simple, short but very informative presentation, and I blushed when he said very good and bravo. I am just happy that I have already created a very good impression to the President. They are even joking that I should always attend the meeting so the President won't get mad. Thank God it's Friday!

Sunday at Home. After a long time, Daddy, Matthew and I just stayed at home last Sunday. I missed this day when we are just at home laughing, cuddling and sleeping together. I love Sundays!

BC Bloggers Meme: 5 Things I Want to Do Before I Get Old

Wow, this is very hard because I am thinking of so much things to do now and before I get old.

I will give it a try if I can limit it to just 5, lets start...

1. I want to be an established mompreneur. I know you already know that I have just opened my online shop. So far, it is doing well. I am selling baby stuffs like cloth diaper, which my son is also using, and diaper bags. But I want something more still, I want to create my own product that Momaye's Shoppe will be known of. I know it is not an overnight success and because I am just starting, it is like the door just open and I am taking my step inside the battle ground. Thank God, I have a very supportive husband who drives for me to Divisoria and to the courier :)

Please visit my site HERE
2. I want to learn crocheting. Since I will grow old, I better learn to crochet before I loss my memory and control of my hands because of rheumatism. Lol. Honestly, it is more than that. As I already said above, I want to make a product that Momaye's Shoppe will be known of. That is why I am learning different handcrafts, and crocheting is one of them. I actually have an idea of what product to do and one of these days I will disclose that with you.

3. I want to travel with my family.  I want to go to Disneyland with Matthew and Daddy soon. I am sure Matt will love to see the real Mickey Mouse. I want to  see the real Chocolate Hills. I want to go to different places here and abroad, unfortunately I can't do it now. But I promise myself, I will do it soon.

4.  I want to have grandchildren. Seriously yes, I want to have grandchildren before I grow old. I want to take care of them and play with them. I want to know if it is true that you will love your grandchildren more than your own children. That I want to know before I grow old and I can never run after my grandchildren anymore.

5. I want to own a farm house. We already have our own house now, but Daddy Allan and I wanted to have a farm where we can raise chickens, goats, cows and plant trees, vegetables and different flowering plants. I know Daddy Allan loves planting so even if we don't have a garden at home he still plants in a pot  or empty milk cans. Since he could not make it grow like a trees, he make them into bonsai instead.

That sums up the 5 things I want to do before I grow old for our BC Blogger Meme this week. If you want to be part of our blog CommEx and Meme, join us HERE.

BC Bloggers Meme: Things That Make Me Happy

Hi everyone! It's a start of another busy day for me and I am looking forward for all the blessings today. Have you wonder how could I make it each day, doing multitasking - working as a Chemist, a blogger, online seller (aspiring mompreneur), a wife and a mother. I am not a superwoman, I wish I am. Haha!

I will spill the secret now... I am a happy wife and mother. And what are the things that make me happy, I listed them here:

1. Mornings - Waking up each morning means I have another day to live on and enjoy.

2. My son's laughter, hugs and kisses - These usually greet us every morning and that's priceless. Matt makes me happy even when he is upset. I love everything about him.

3. My blog - This has been my diary for more than a year now and through this, I am learning more and I have the courage to open and share my personal life and motherhood experiences.

4. My long time friendship - I have few friends but I make sure they are worth to keep.

My three best friends. From left: Allan, Me, Ivy and Dij.

5. Giveaways - I love giveaways, who doesn't?

6. My online shop - It's the start of my new dream and I bet you already know that.

Please visit my shop HERE.

7. Cloth Diaper - Shifting to cloth diaper is one of the motherhood challenges I went through and I never regret making the shift.
8. My Work - I have been a Chemist for almost 9 years and it's a fulfillment of my dream.

Sorry for the messy photo. We had this photo when we were transferring the Lab from Caloocan to Bulacan.

9. My family - A call or text from them can definitely make me happy.

Photo taken during our wedding (07.27.2008)

10. My ever patient husband - He is the last but not the least, I am definitely sure of that. Daddy, I hope you know that by just seeing you around, you already make me happy. You don't need to utter a word to make me smile because my heart always beats faster because of you.

Yes, he is the Chemist Dad!

This is my entry for this week’s BC Bloggers Meme. I just limit them to 10 because the truth is there are so many things that make me happy (#mababawangkaligayahan) and the space will not be enough or you'll get lazy reading through it.

Oh by the way, if you want to join the blog meme and blog hop, why not join us at BC Blogger. I'll guarantee you will learn a lot from it. Join us HERE.

Can you tell me what are the things that could make you happy? Ready, go!
